This ministry comprises of female believers who are 60+. Members of this group get together regularly for Bible Study and to discuss issues vital to their mental, social, psychological, emotional and economic wellbeing, in addition to their spiritual growth. It is a group that builds trust, cohesiveness, friendship, and fellowship. It is modeled after Acts 2:42 “They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

We value our guests and feel really honored when anyone walks through the door to worship the Lord with us. Our Guest and Growth Services Director along with our pastors reach out to guests immediately after their visit to thank them again for visiting, assess their experience in order to make changes (if needed), and share with them additional information about the church. The Guest and Growth Services also gives our guests a welcome package and invites them to a quarterly dinner at the home of our Visionary to have lunch and a tête-à-tête. The primary role of the Guest and Growth Services is to ensure that guests feel welcome, integrated and experience growth in their walk with the Lord.

 In these difficult times, we recognize that not everyone owns a car, can drive, or is permitted to drive. The Church has a bus and a transportation committee. Anyone interested in getting to the church on Sunday is encouraged to reach out to the Committee Chairperson, Deaconess Clara Paylue (763) 381-4113 by 5pm on Saturday to secure a ride (free of charge) to and from church. Please don’t allow the lack of transportation to hinder you from worshiping the Lord with us.

 In Matthew 19:14 we read, “But Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’” At HIC MN, we value the children and take their spiritual growth seriously. We have dedicated members who study and teach an approved curriculum. Kids are allowed to periodically participate in our worship service by ministering through skits, reading of scripture, singing, or reciting poems and bible verses. Our kids develop a strong love for God and for each other. It would be an honor for us to be entrusted with the spiritual growth and development of your child.

The primary purpose of the Music Ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through songs.  With a blend of contemporary Western and African Christian music, our dedicated praise and worship team spends time in prayer seeking the leading of the Holy Spirit for spirit-filled and anointed songs each week that are used in a time of celebration and worship of God. They usher us into God’s presence with “a David-like” dance (2 Samuel 6:14) and a worship experience like the woman with the alabaster box (Luke 7:36-50). If you have never experienced true worship, we invite you to join us. All we ask is that you avail yourself to the move of God’s Spirit.

 At HIC MN., we seek excellence in what we do. Our Media Ministry is dynamic and is the technical branch of our ministry. These men and women are committed to making sure that all technical aspects of our worship service are of the best quality. Team members serve in different capacities including operating the main screen in the sanctuary, and online streaming (Facebook and YouTube live). They manage our website and other media productions aimed at winning souls into the kingdom, helping God’s people discover their gifts, and sending them into the world to fulfill their calling.
