MISSION
To win the lost at all costs and make as many disciples for Christ as we possibly can in our generation. We shall accomplish our Mission by Winning souls into God’s Kingdom, training them through the Word of God, and Sending them into the world as Harvesters to fulfill their God-given purpose
VISION
A world where no one lives or dies without Christ!
BUSINESS
Harvesting souls and growing leaders.
OUR VALUES
We will make every effort to reach the nations with the life-transforming Gospel of Jesus. We will therefore be a mission-oriented church.
MISSION
We will make every effort to reach the nations with the life-transforming Gospel of Jesus. We will therefore be a mission-oriented church.
SERVICE
We will be committed to serving each other recognizing that we are a part of God’s family. We will be especially kind to our visitors to make them feel valued, welcomed and a part of this team God is raising to take the city for Him.
DISCIPLESHIP
We will remain committed to duplicating ourselves and in evangelism. We will also be a beacon of hope for others to see and follow us as we follow Christ.
EXCELLENCE
Our team is committed to excellence in everything we do. Our work philosophy is that we work as if everything depends on us, but we pray knowing everything depends on God.
TEAMWORK
Our team is committed to collaboration and effective communication. Working as one team, within one church, for one vision.
LEADERSHIP
Our leadership is comprised of men and women who love the Lord and are called by Him. We strive to exemplify the spiritual of humility, servitude, oneness and love for one another and those the Lord leads to His church.
INTERGRITY
We strive to demonstrate Christ-like character, avoiding hypocrisy in our dealings with each other and those we are called to witness.
DIVERSITY
We sincerely embrace and celebrate diversity. Our goal is to create an environment where staff, ministry workers, and church members are sensitive to other cultures, whereas we celebrate our differences, and the dominant culture is a kingdom culture.
ONE GOD
We affirm our belief in the one-eternal God, Creator, and Lord of the world, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who governs all things according to the purpose of his will.
THE AUTHORITY & POWER OF THE BIBLE
We affirm the divine inspiration, truthfulness, and authority of both Old and New Testament Scriptures in their entirety as the only written word of God, without error in all that it affirms, and the only infallible rule of faith and practice. We also affirm the power of God’s word to accomplish his purpose of salvation. The message of the Bible is addressed to all men and women.
THE UNIQUENESS & UNIVERSALITY OF CHRIST
We affirm that there is only one Savior and only one gospel, although there is a wide diversity of evangelistic approaches. We recognize that everyone has some knowledge of God through his general revelation in nature. But we deny that this can save, for people suppress the truth by their unrighteousness. We also reject as derogatory to Christ and the gospel every kind of syncretism and dialogue which implies that Christ speaks equally through all religions and ideologies. Jesus Christ, being himself the only God-man, who gave himself as the only ransom for sinners, is the only mediator between God and His people. There is no other name by which we must be saved. All men and women are perishing because of sin, but God loves everyone, not wishing that any should perish but that all should repent. Yet those who reject Christ repudiate the joy of salvation and condemn themselves to eternal separation from God. To proclaim Jesus as “the Savior of the world” is not to affirm that all people are either automatically or ultimately saved, still less to affirm that all religions offer salvation in Christ. Rather it is to proclaim God’s love for a world of sinners and to invite everyone to respond to him as Savior and Lord in the wholehearted personal commitment of repentance and faith.
GOD HAS ABSOLUTES
We believe that in this era of relativism where it is generally claimed that there are no absolutes, God does have absolutes. God, His Word, and His truths stand as eternal absolutes, unchanged and unchanging, forever reliable.
CORE VALUES
H-A-R-V-E-S-T: Using our name, Harvest as an acronym, here are our 7 core values. They reveal the attitudes and behaviors that we prize, the way we go about fulfilling our mission, and what our organizational culture is.
Holiness—Be mindful that God chose you for Himself and the service you render is to a holy God, first and foremost. Yours, therefore, is a holy calling that requires you set yourself apart from the world of sin, in order that you may serve Him acceptably, in reverence and godly fear. (Scripture references: Romans12:1-2 and 1 Peter 1:15-15 ESV).
Adaptability—Things do not always go as you plan. Be flexible and able to change when circumstances change. It should not be about you having your way. Keep the big picture in mind. (Scripture references: Ecclesiastes 3:1 and Philippians 4:11-13).
Respect—Attach high value to everyone because of the high value God attaches to them and the high price Jesus was willing to pay for them. Treat, honor and speak to every person the way you want to be treated, honored and spoken to, especially when you disagree with them. Always show honor and respect for elders and for those in positions of authority, in the family, Church, and society. (Scripture references: 1 Peter 2:17 and Philippians 2:3-4 ESV).
Valor—Be bold and courageous in doing God’s will and fulfilling your assignments from Him. Remember God is with you. And you have not been given a spirit of fear. (Scripture references: 1 Samuel 30:8 and Joshua 1:5-7 ESV).
Enterprising—Work hard. Plan your work. Do not look for excuses. Look for solutions. Be innovative. Aim to do a lot with what you have, little or much. Seize opportunities. Take the initiative. Find a way to get the job done, to bring in the harvest. To win the lost at all costs. (Scripture references: Ecclesiastes 9:10 and Proverbs 20:4).
Servanthood—Like the Son of Man, do not seek to be served, but serve. Give. Sacrifice. Remember, the path of service is the path to greatness. Work with the Holy Spirt. You will not be remembered, nor rewarded, for what you received, but for what you gave. (Scripture references: Mark 9:35 and Galatians 5:13).
Teamwork—Employ the power of unity. Work together. Combine your strengths, reduce your weaknesses. Do your part, help others do theirs. One can put a thousand to flight, and two can put ten thousand to flight! (Scripture references: Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 and Romans 15:5-6 ESV).
